1. Private by Design: No Financial Uploads

PayoutPrep is architected from the ground up to protect your business finances. When you drag and drop a Stripe export into our tool, the file is parsed and converted entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your file data, customer names, charge amounts, and bank account numbers never leave your device and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect minimal technical and account information strictly necessary to provide the service:

• Account Information: When you log in, we collect your email address to send you a 6-digit one-time authentication code.
• Usage Metadata: When you download a converted file with an account, we record high-level metadata (such as SHA-256 file hash, transaction count, row count, and start/end dates) to accurately track credit balances and prevent duplicate billing for the same file within 7 days.
• Payment Information: All payments are processed securely by our Merchant of Record partners (e.g. Creem or Lemon Squeezy). We never receive or store your credit card or bank details.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site traffic and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first, does not use cookies, and does not track individual visitors across sites or gather personal profile information.

We only use essential functional cookies for authentication session management (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) to keep you signed into your account.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your email and credit ledger records for as long as your account remains active. You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated records at any time directly through your Account Settings page or by emailing us at support@getpayoutprep.com.
